Darker folder icons for Yosemite

————————

This folder contains replacements for all the standard folder icons in OS X. Yosemite. Most of them were made by opening the original standard icons in GraphicConverter9 and lowering the saturation to -70.

I have also supplied two icons for Dropbox. See the separate instructions for installing these.

The Home folder icon was made by using the Folders Factory app, available in the App Store, and “branding” the default folder icon with the default Home icon, then adjusting the color in GraphicConverter 9.

4. Click on the tiny icon at the top of the Get Info window (not the larger Preview icon!).

5. Press Cmd-V to paste the revised icon.

6. Close the Get Info window.

Then do the same with the icon for the Dropbox Public folder.
